Platform Limitations and Geometric Shapes

Software programs that allow for the manipulation of geometric shapes were few and far between in 1995. The initial CLASS™ courses include Geometer's Sketchpad® software. This program, however, was only compatible with a PC, thereby limiting the user to one platform.

Ultimately, finding a software program for manipulating geometric shapes that functions with all platform/browser combinations would be the ideal program. Unfortunately, during the tenure of CLASS™, no such program existed. The best available was a software program that limited the user to one platform.
