Downloading IssuesWell — right off the bat, you have the problem of download time
for all those graphics, sound, video, and interactive files! A simple
way to facilitate downloading still graphics, videos, and audio files
is by compressing them. Compressed audio files use much less space,
but large amounts of video, even when compressed, can create delays.
The number of audio and video files per single page of the course needs
to be carefully monitored to facilitate download time. Putting the
audio and video files on a CD is another solution to the problem, but
these files also consume large quantities of CD space. Copyright 2004 - University of Nebraska Board of Regents - All Rights Reserved |
