National Center for Information Technology in Education

The National Center for Information Technology in Education (NCITE™) is a laboratory headquartered at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (UNL) performing research and development, technology transfer, and training in educational technology.

NCITE is founded upon and administered through a strong collaboration among UNL's College of Education and Human Sciences, Computer Science and Engineering Department, and Nebraska Educational Telecommunications.

This Center is a mechanism to enhance and maintain the University of Nebraska's leadership position in the vital area of educational information technology.

NCITE™ is Co-Directed by Arthur Zygielbaum, Associate Professor (Courtesy) Computer Science, and member of NASA Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel, and Roger Bruning, Velma Warren Hodder Professor of Educational Psychology, and Co-Director of the Center for Instructional Innovation (CII). Richard Sincovec, Chair of Computer Science and Engineering, is the Associate Director of NCITE™.
