College of Education and Human Sciences

The College of Education and Human Sciences, home of NCITE™, is the only college in Nebraska to address families, schools and communities as a ‘seamless grouping of entities that unique support human potential. It is one of only three such programs in land grant/research I universities in the nation. The others are at Colorado State University and the University of Tennessee.

The College, approved by the University of Nebraska, Board of Regents in June 2003, brings together programs, students, faculties and staffs of Teachers College and the College of Human Resources and Family Sciences. Offices for the Dean are in the Economics building, while two Associate Dean’s office in Teachers College.

Undergraduate enrollments are about 2,600, making it the third largest enrollment at UNL behind the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business Administration. Graduate students number about 1,000, with permanent faculty of 176 and staff of 104.
